                                                                       HOW IT ALL BEGINS !!!!!!!

 

My name is Marthe D. Conserve. I am the founder of Haitian Women Meet Up Club. I love being involved in making a difference in our Haitian community in Orlando, Florida. As a young professional looking to start a small business with my best friend and Co-founder Roosvelcy Andre we did not have any resources/network available to us. We were worried that without a social media platform and the people that we know, our small business would not succeed. Even though we were worried, we did not let it stop us from proceeding with the next steps. Nevertheless, my God had bigger plans ahead for me. One morning I woke up feeling all excited with the idea; "Why not have a networking club where all Haitian Women can meet every quarter, use that time to make new friends and new connections that can help them grow their network towards whatever goals they have?” This resulted in the Co-founder coming up with the name Haitian Women Meet up Club. I took the name then created a new Instagram account, a new email, reached out to the resources that I knew were available to me, and started working on this project. I am determined that as a unit we can accomplish a lot more than as individuals trying to make it in a competitive market.

                                                                                    OUR VISION

 

Our main focus for the Club is to become a space that will unite and enable us to support each other with no competition between us. We want it to be a safe place for young professionals and business owners to be able to come together to network with one another, all while sharing various business tips and knowledge. We also want that same unity to remain intact outside of the club as we commit to support one another. As fellow sisters, we have to have each other’s back. Our philosophy is: when your business is growing,  mine is also growing and we can all grow together. We would love for you to join this movement of empowering all Haitian Women within various professions.
